Mastering the MOBOCES Media Library

About the Training

The MOBOCES Media Library is an extensive collection of physical and digital resources maintained by the Center for Instructional Support (CIS) that can enrich classroom instruction for both teachers and students. The library has been organized into named collections. These can be explored after logging in to the online catalog media4u and clicking the Browse Collections button on the toolbar. Resources can be checked out or instantly accessed using the Media Catalog/media4u

  • How to explore your account. 
  • How to create a Favorites list.
  • How to rate & review resources.

Instructions

  • Complete each topic of the training in the navigation menu on the left from top to bottom.
  • The approximate time to complete each topic is in parentheses. 
  • You do NOT need to complete the entire training in one sitting. Just be sure to keep track of the topics that you have completed so that you know where to start when you resume the training.
  • Each topic will include a video and tasks. Several of the topics also include a quiz. You MUST watch each video, complete ALL tasks and submit ALL quizzes to receive CTLE credit. CTLE credit will be updated in MLP after the course end date.
