Table & Seating Rules:

 

             General Seating Rules:

  • All students should be seated at a table.
  • Students may sit 4 per table IF they are working/conversing QUIETLY.  
  • No moving tables or chairs (unless given permission by the library staff).
  • No sitting on the windowsills or floor.
  • The Emergency Exit window should remain clear at all times.

*Students who cannot follow these rules may be asked to move to another seat, or will be asked to leave the library.*

Study Hall and/or Lunch Students

STUDY HALL/LUNCH RULES:

*Students are expected to be working/reading quietly while in the library. Students not meeting this expectation may be sent back to study hall. 

  • There is a limit of 3 students from each study hall.
  • Students MUST have a pass from their study hall teacher BEFORE coming to the library.
  • Students must sign-in using the Library Trac program on the iPad, or at the designated computer kiosk.
  • Desktop computers are reserved for school work. 
  • Students are expected to stay through the entirety of the period, unless given permission (and a pass) to go elsewhere.
  • ABSOLUTELY NO FOOD is allowed in the library. Drinks must be in a closed-top container. 
  • A limited number of students are permitted from each lunch period, based on a "first come, first served" basis. 
  • Coming to the library from study hall or lunch is a PRIVILEGE --- please behave accordingly.

 

Library Computers

Library Computer Rules:

  • Only 1 person at each computer.
  • Library computers are for school work/study. NO GAMING is allowed.
  • Do not change settings, or download/install software on the library computers.
  • Students may print school-related work only. Please ask if you need to print in color.
  • Please do not UNPLUG the library computers OR charge your phones or devices using the library computers. There is a Charging Hub specifically for that purpose.
  • Vandalism and/or mistreatment of computer equipment will result in immediate restriction from use (unless you are under the direct supervision of a teacher).
